Meet Amanda, our social media guru!!

Amanda resides in Mechanicsburg, PA, alongside her boyfriend and their four dogs, all of whom were adopted from SGF. She serves as a Quality Assurance Analyst for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

In 2012, Amanda welcomed Frank into her home from SGF and has been a devoted supporter ever since. Her involvement deepened when she began volunteering with SGF, leading her to “foster fail” with her three other dogs: Donnie, a Chihuahua mix; Tommy, a Cairn Terrier; and Poppy, a soft wire-haired dachshund.

 

Currently, she conducts home visits for the mid-Atlantic region and is the social media director for the rescue. In her free time, Amanda enjoys exploring native plants and their ecological benefits, bird watching, and planning her dream trip to Costa Rica to witness the diverse species of hummingbirds.
